As one of many out-of-work designers suffering the effects of the GFC, architect John Morefield was forced to create his own job. He set up shop at a farmers' market in Seattle where passers by could ask him any architectural questions they pleased.. only a nickel for HIS thoughts! (apparently he earned over $50,000 in commissions... clever)
