the fleet store is popping up the Wintergarden, Queen Street Mall, Brisbane, in the first week of August. This three month pop up venture will be run by Queensland University of Technology (QUT) double degree Fashion/Business students, with the support of Creative Enterprise Australia (CEA). fleet will showcase emerging design talent from past and present QUT students, as well as CEA mentees.
As an artisan retail space, fleet aims to recreate the studio environment, inviting customers to share in the creative process. Designers to be stocked include Juli Grbac, George Wu, QUT student Kate Stein, and Mercedes Benz Fashion Festival Australian Graduate of the Year finalists Robyn Taggart and Jeremy Gillis.
the fleet store will be managed by QUT's inaugural graduates of the double degree in Fine Arts (Fashion Design) and Business.
So get along and support these wonderful creatures :) An excuse to bulk up the wardrobe also!
